Rising from the Shadows

In a dark cage is tripped a woman’s silhouette, appearing at the crossroads in her life.

 

Born a caterpillar in a world of inflicted traumas, life is grey. Trust is broken and lines are blurred, her past is made with decisions apart from the social norms. Now a life locked up with no hands on the clock, her life hangs onto the chain of her past.

 

She’s been down this road many times before, questioning herself. It’s time for something new. What is this that draws me near? A little ray of golden light! A foreign joy and new found belief. She found comfort rising from the shadows. It’s time for her to rejoice.

 

As she grows, deep within the transformation now begins, her heart now takes flight from the chains of her past. A butterfly emerges with insight, not yet fully coloured but a new calling transcends her sight.

 

Broken free and driven to learn, she now focuses to advocate for the under dogs within the law. It’s a story of resilience and transformation, knowing what a little love can do.

 

Her past doesn’t define her, have an open heart and don’t define her either.
