Dr. Marta Monclus Maso completed her PhD at the University of Barcelona where she collaborated with Dr. Fernandez-Bessa. Dr. Monclus Maso is on staff at the National Penitentiary Office as well as faculty at the Buenos Aires-based University of José C. Paz while regularly teaching at Universities across Argentina. Dr. Monclus Maso specializes in the incarceration of women as well as immigration detainees in Argentina and Spain. She is in regular collaboration with Dr. Sozzo as well as our Argentinian partners the APP (lawyer advocates) and the PPN (Prison Observatory).
