Welcome to
Making Space
Making Space is a free, welcoming space at Carleton University in Ottawa, open to people who have been imprisoned and to their families.
Once a month, we open our doors so you can share a meal and a coffee, use the university’s spaces and technology, access library materials, and get a hand from our team. There’s no cost, no paperwork, and no need to sign up for anything. You come when you’d like, use what’s helpful to you, and take part only in what interests you. If you have family in Ottawa, they’re welcome too.
