Ramiro Gual is a staff member at the National Penitentiary Ombudsman in Argentina (PPN). He is a Ph.D. student at Universidad Nacional del Litoral and a part-time professor in the Law School at the University of Buenos Aires where he is a Subdirector of the Center for Prison Studies and teaches at the university-in prison program. As a part of Prison Transparency Project his research is focus on the role developed by incarcerated workers union and university-in prison programs producing transparency in federal facilities in Argentina.
