Danica Nardi Lemadeleine

Research Assistant


Danica Nardi-Lamadeleine (she/her) is a current Master’s student in the Law and Legal Studies Department at Carleton University. Her graduate research focuses on Canadian criminal and constitutional law as it pertains to sexual violence. As part of the Prison Transparency Project (PTP), Danica is interested in matters related to the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms and how these rights are being upheld (or not) in prison. Danica has been a part of the PTP since 2021, and has written and helped draft PTP reports, prepared court documents, managed events, and international partnership meetings.
